Care of life and work with the body in decolonial epistemology and ethics

Abstract
Positivist science ceased to be considered as the only way to reach unique and universal truths, its methods are linked to human interests and the knowledge that can be produced from its way is one among many possible in the sphere of the capacities of individuals to approach the study of everything that is of interest to human beings. But it has not been easy to generate other readings outside positivist colonialism in the study of reality, which is a creation of groups. The objective of this paper is to propose a reflection on these aspects involved in the generation of knowledge, putting on the table of academic discussion life as an ethical principle of the work of scientists and as a “living” category; secondly, according to the work of López Ramos, the human body as a space inhabited by life in interrelation with the space that is inhabited and the body as a process of construction; which raises the need for new training processes for researchers, and implies rethinking the vision of human beings, their practices, conceptions and ways of life.
