Open Science and Data Availability Policy

Revista CoPaLa. Construyendo Paz Latinoamericana promotes open science practices compatible with the characteristics of the social sciences, humanities, education and peace studies.

When the nature of the research allows it, authors may share data, instruments, complementary materials, methodological annexes, analysis matrices, protocols, anonymized transcripts, repositories or supporting documents that favor transparency, verification and academic reuse of knowledge.

Ethical Principles for the Openness of Data and Materials

The openness of data and materials must respect ethical principles, informed consent, confidentiality, personal data protection, rights of participating communities, safety of persons and integrity of the research.

When data cannot be shared for ethical, legal, institutional, community, confidentiality, security or personal data protection reasons, authors must indicate this in the manuscript.

Data or Materials Availability Statement

The journal recommends including a data or materials availability statement in works derived from empirical research.

Restrictions on the Availability of Data or Materials
