Digital Preservation Policy for Access to Content
Revista CoPaLa. Construyendo Paz Latinoamericana establishes digital preservation mechanisms aimed at ensuring the permanence, availability, recovery and long-term access to published content.
The journal uses the Open Journal Systems platform for editorial management and maintains electronic backups of its files, metadata and published documents.
Preservation Systems
When enabled, LOCKSS, CLOCKSS or PKP Preservation Network systems will allow distributed and secure copies of the journal’s contents to be preserved, with the purpose of restoring files in the event of loss, damage, service interruption or technical contingency.
Metadata for Retrieval and Preservation
Each published article includes editorial metadata that facilitate its identification, retrieval and preservation.
Access Restoration
In the event of an impact on the website or published files, Revista CoPaLa will carry out the necessary technical actions to restore access from its internal backups or available preservation systems.
