Incorporating the Aesthetic Dimension in Higher Education: A Dialogue with Luis Eduardo Primero
Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: To highlight the importance of incorporating poetry in all levels and fields of higher education. Methodology: Dialogic argumentative discourse. Conclusion: The aim is to incorporate an aesthetic vision to the teacher/student relationship. This aesthetics is located in "thinking well", intimately linked to "feeling well", that is, not only in thinking, but also in sensibility. The teacher can stimulate the student through an introspective exercise to pay attention to his own potential as an artist, to the poet that we all are or carry in us, and that we should discover, recognize and enhance, to incorporate it into our didactic strategy and pedagogical principles from the epistemologies of the South.
