Analogical ethics of everyday life

Abstract

This paper deals with the analogical ethics of everyday life, as a recent contribution of Dr. Luis Eduardo Primero Rivas, professor and founding researcher of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional Ajusco, in Mexico, also related to the approaches of Mauricio Beuchot Puente, professor emeritus of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). In addition, I present a historical and current overview of ethics and its practical implications in everyday life. I also emphasize the need to guide it by the collective interest and respond to the current utilitarian-instrumentalist ethics, a product of the capitalist and neoliberal period. In order to achieve the above, I call upon some of the main philosophical ethical conceptions related to the period, for example, during classical Greece, the Renaissance, the Second World War or after the arrival of the pioneers in North America. In this journey, the Beuchotian analogy and the conception of everyday life proposed by Agnes Heller stand out, both of which are masterfully included in the construction of the First Doctor's so-called analogical ethics of everyday life.
