La Revista CoPaLa, Construcción de Paz Latinoamericana, began in May 2016 with the purpose of disseminating and disseminating everything that from the literature contributes to the knowledge and practice of non-violent societies and peaceful coexistence that strengthen peacebuilding with social justice, freedom, democracy, dignity, respect for social, political, ethnic, cultural, linguistic, religious, sexual, national, regional, gender diversity and all the multiplicity of differences that arise in family and educational settings, social, regional, local, national, Latin American and global.

CoPaLa intends to be an open journal to all academic perspectives, to the different social and human sciences, to different political and ideological views, to the thought of social movements, Non-Governmental Organizations and civil society, which have to do with with the objectives of the magazine. In this sense, it is considered to be a magazine that encourages dialogue and discussion of knowledge, knowledge, cultures and policies, as well as experiences that are systematized with theoretical and analytical foundations from peace, conflicts, human rights, and non-violence.

CoPaLa is a biannual electronic publication whose main objective is to disseminate scientific articles, research advances, essays, case studies, theoretical analyzes and critical or informative bibliographic reviews from Latin America, the Caribbean or any other country, continent or region, addressed from different theoretical, epistemological and methodological perspectives related to the themes of democracy, peace, conflicts, violence, interculturality, human rights, non-violence, education for peaceful coexistence, management methods, resolution and conflict transformation, as well as everything related to critical pedagogies and participant action research experiences for peacebuilding in different social, family, educational, regional, national or world contexts.

Undoubtedly, the greatest wealth of the content of the Revista CoPaLa will be the criticism, reflections and discussions that the authors and readers carry out of the writings published on its pages.
