The journal CoPaLa, Construyendo paz Latinoamericana will attend and resolve complaints or appeals related to the non-compliance of any of the practices described in the section Publication Rules and Journal Policies involving authors, scientific reviewers and editorial team, in the following aspects:

 

Non-publication of manuscripts:

  • - Arguments are reviewed and evaluated meticulously and without implying a commitment to publication.

Plagiarism cases:

  • - Authors guarantee that the manuscript they postulate has not been submitted for consideration for total or partial publication in another medium, in addition that the content contains the required citations in the precise places for publication, so that the processing of manuscripts that are published or under review in another medium will be automatically suspended.
  • - Different specialized services are used to search for grammatical and orthotypographic coincidences, to prevent plagiarism and to comply with the editorial quality standards that guarantee an authentic scientific production.
  • - The journal CoPaLa, Construyendo Paz Latinoamericana, makes available to authors, reviewers, the scientific community, and those interested in general, a set of specific tools for plagiarism detection. Free access and paid interfaces that ensure the originality of all types of manuscripts for plagiarism control: GrammarlyURKUNDPlagiumplagiarisma.netPaperRater.

 

Peer review results:

  • - The author's arguments will be analyzed and if necessary, a new reviewer will be requested to define the outcome.

 

Conduct of the members of the journal's editorial team:

  • - They will be analyzed within the Scientific Council.

 

It should be noted that, in any of the cases described above or even if there are complaints from readers, the interested parties should send a duly identified and signed letter (anonymous documents are not accepted) to the Editorial Board by e-mail to copalarevista@gmail.com with the following basic data:

  • - Duly motivated and justified subject.
  • - Full names of the interested party or parties.
  • - Basic data for its location: e-mail and telephone number.
  • - Place and date.

Once the letter has been reviewed and it has been observed that it has the elements that justify the complaint or appeal, the Editorial Board will analyze the situation and will give an answer and/or solution to it.
