Thinking neoliberalism. A critical view from the analogical pedagogy of the everyday.
Main Article Content
Abstract
When mention is made of issues related to pedagogy, topics such as learning, curriculum, didactics, among others, are almost immediately mentioned. And although what has been said shows an important part of the reality in the educational field -be it formal or informal-, few of us venture to deepen, delve, analyze and put on the table neoliberalism as a point of analysis, because I believe that the capitalist model -currently hegemonic- not only acts in the economic sector, but has managed to permeate the educational system through policies, working conditions and excessive workloads and/or workdays justified under the logic of production, obtaining points and the acquisition of economic or symbolic capital that, if analyzed under the approaches or theories of the "hidden" or implicit, prepare alienated humans, indoctrinated and ready for the consumption of merchandise - hence neoliberal thinking has also reached the daily life of people -, promoting a type of education based on competencies, on the ignorance of the other and on the idea that a number such as the grade or points in the case of the academic, defines them.
