Currículo oculto y racionalidad capitalista en la conciencia ambiental de futuros ingenieros civiles

Resumen

El presente estudio analiza la conciencia ambiental de estudiantes de los últimos semestres de Ingeniería Civil desde una perspectiva crítica centrada en el currículo oculto y su articulación con una racionalidad neoliberal. La investigación se desarrolló desde un enfoque cualitativo-interpretativo con aproximación etnográfica en la Facultad de Ingeniería Mochis de la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa. Como técnica principal se empleó la entrevista semiestructurada, aplicándose 43 entrevistas a estudiantes de octavo y noveno semestre. El análisis permitió identificar que la preocupación ambiental del estudiantado no está ausente; sin embargo, se configura de manera condicionada por las jerarquías laborales, la rentabilidad, la rapidez de ejecución y la adaptación a las exigencias del mercado. Los testimonios muestran que la sustentabilidad es reconocida como deseable en el plano discursivo, pero ocupa una posición secundaria cuando entra en tensión con criterios técnico-productivos considerados más viables o realistas. Asimismo, se observó que la formación profesional transmite, además de conocimientos explícitos, aprendizajes implícitos sobre qué prioridades deben orientar el ejercicio ingenieril. Se concluye que la baja centralidad práctica de la sustentabilidad no responde únicamente a decisiones individuales, sino a un proceso formativo atravesado por un currículo oculto que normaliza una visión neoliberal del desempeño profesional

Profesor de la Licenciatura en Biología de la Universidad Autónoma de Occidente y docente de la Licenciatura en Ingeniería en Biotecnología de la Universidad Autónoma Indígena de México. Es licenciado en Biología con especialidad en Ecología y Medio Ambiente por la Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, y cuenta con la Maestría en Educación por la Universidad IEXPRO y la Maestría en Recursos Naturales y Medio Ambiente por el CIIDIR-IPN Unidad Sinaloa. Es miembro del Sistema Sinaloense de Investigadores y Tecnólogos y de la Red de Educadores Ambientales de Sinaloa. Ha dirigido y asesorado tesis de licenciatura. Su trayectoria combina docencia, educación ambiental, biología e investigación interdisciplinaria, con trabajos vinculados con identificación molecular, filogenia molecular e investigación educativa.

Profesor de la Licenciatura en Ciencias Biomédicas de la Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, Unidad Regional Los Mochis. Es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadoras e Investigadores con la distinción de Candidato. Se desempeña además como Jefe del Departamento de Desarrollo Editorial de la Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, donde colabora directamente con los equipos editoriales de las revistas Bioc Scientia y LINCE de Ciencias Sociales, Humanidades y Tecnologías. Ha dirigido tesis de licenciatura, maestría y doctorado. Su trabajo académico y de investigación se centra en bioinformática, genómica bacteriana, inmunoinformática, biología computacional y diseño in silico de vacunas y compuestos bioactivos, con participación en proyectos y publicaciones sobre microbiología, resistencia antimicrobiana y búsqueda de blancos terapéuticos.
